Shopping with $1.54

My sister is in town!  Even though she’s here for work, it’s nice to have a house guest. Today while she’s at the Natural Products Expo, I’m visiting one of my favorite salvage businesses, Second Chance.

I love this place!  It has such an eclectic mix of finds that you are never bored walking through the huge warehouse that houses it.  Here are a few examples…

Need a Romanian hay wagon?  I know where to find one.

I LOVE the color of this crushed velvet couch!

If you’ve seen my office, you know how much I love an “E”.

Sadly, I’m unemployed at the moment, so my budget was basically the cash I had in my wallet – $1.54.  As you can imagine, that left me a little limited.   I seriously considered buying a few of these….

A small piece of slate which cost me $ .53!  I came home with $1.01.  In my book, that’s a pretty successful shopping trip!
